Kazakh woman gets 16 years for trying to smuggle 8.8 kg of cannabis extract from Thailand

ASTANA. July 22 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — A court in Almaty has sentenced a 22-year-old Kazakh woman to 16 years in prison for smuggling nearly nine kilograms of cannabis extract from Thailand, the General Transport Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.
